Gereral information on how to integrate a pre-processor in LS-OPT

To integrate a pre-processor in LS-OPT, either the available interfaces may be used (LS-PrePost, ANSA, HyperMorph, ...), or the user-defined interface to couple any other program or script (Perl). For general information on how to set up a user-defined stage see User Defined Solvers.

In most cases, the pre-processor generates a file that is used as input file or include in the solver stage. To make the file availabe for the solver, either the Run in directory of Stage option could be used, or a file transfer may be defined to move or copy the file to the solver run directories.
