Madymo

Integrating Madymo as a user-defined solver and result extraction with Hypergraph and with a user-defined program.

In this example, MADYMO, a software package that allows users to design and optimise occupant safety systems, is used as a user-defined solver. For extracting a history curve from the results of MADYMO, the program Hypergraph from Altair controlled by a *.tcl file is applied. The *.tcl file exports a curve through a *.mvw file to a file named LsoptHistory, which is automatically imported to LS-OPT. The *.mvw file has to be created by importing the result files UserOpt.* not test.*
Extracting of a scalar value from a result file of MADYMO (test.peak) is realized with a user-defined perl program.

The example does not contain a complete Madymo input file. The setup is exemplarily and has to be complemented and adapted.
